THE ASK

DoorDash was looking to utilize influencer marketing and collaborate with renowned chefs and food personalities to create compelling content highlighting the crucial role DoorDash plays in their lives and daily routines. The Chef Picks campaign aims to showcase how DoorDash's unparalleled convenience and seamless ordering process help individuals easily manage their busy lives, schedules, and businesses without compromising their favorite meals. Since DoorDash is synonymous with food delivery and convenience, they strive to provide their users with the best restaurant selections, recommendations, and local options for both fast delivery and community engagement. The Chef Picks campaign was the perfect opportunity to leverage the power of influencer endorsements.

WHAT WE DID

Foodie Tribe sourced five well-known food personalities across six campaigns to showcase how they use DoorDash and share their favorite local restaurants via in-app collections. These food personalities catered their Reels, static posts, and TikToks to their audiences to create engaging and premium content that reflected their personalities, brands, and lifestyles. The focus of the content was to show how diverse and extensive the options are on DoorDash and how convenient and easy it is to utilize the app for food delivery. The primary goals of this campaign were to drive in-app conversion from the chefs' content and to have the personalities produce content to promote their in-app collections, shared from their social media channels and the DoorDash app. These goals were accomplished via both organic and whitelisted content. The content’s performance not only exceeded industry standards, but was extremely well-received by all the creators’ audiences!
