German National Tourism

The ask: German National Tourist Board was looking for a creative way to promote Germany as a travel destination with their German Food & Drink initiative. In particular they wanted to promote German recipes that were created by one of their chefs. Foodie Tribe was asked to put together an awareness campaign strategy where food influencers would re-create the recipes with their own spin and use it to promote the initiative.

What we did: We engaged ten influencers to re-create the German inspired dishes. Each influencer chose a unique dish to promote, and took beautiful photos to help promote German cuisine and culture. Content was shared on their individual pages with the call to action to check out German National Tourist Board’s Instagram page.

Results:

  • 82,000 engagements

  • 650,000 impressions

  • 10.75% overall engagement rate
